MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb 11, 2020/PRNewswire-iReach/ —TCI, the award-winning online K-12 publishing company, announces that their K-12 Social Studies Curriculum has been adopted by the State of Oklahoma. The program will be among the new curriculum that school districts can choose from, to support the implementation of Oklahoma Academic Standards for Social Studies, which includes engaging in the democratic process, analyzing and addressing authentic civic issues, acquiring and evaluating evidence, reading critically and engaging in evidence-based writing.
The social studies practices crafted by TCI have been created specifically to reflect key disciplinary tools and skills that will prepare students for college, careers, and informed civic life.
